Can I claim for head injury from RTA?

Hello,
I was recently involved in the car accident.
I was crossing the road and the car behind the bus took over and run over me.
I suffered minor head injury and collar bone was broken.
Because of the head injury, I lost my job, I lost some of the memories and I lost my confident to walk and now I have to depend upon my family member.
Police said they are still processing the evidence. What should I do? Shall I wait for the police or contact the laywer?
Thank you.

You should contact a solicitor specialising in accident claims as soon as possible. In cases like yours it is often important to gather evidence at an early stage.

Whether you can claim compenstion will depend upon whether the driver who hit you was negligent - information from the police or other witnesses might be needed.
