Accident today advice please

Was driving my van today long wheel base merc approx 2.5 ton was shunted from behind whilst stationary from a big audi think it was a Q6/7 the guy apoligised and said he only hit me at 5mph lol considering i was shunted 5-6ft back doors dented in and lights broken.

Anyway had to drive to hospital as my neck and back where agony doctor said I had whiplash and prescribed me ibroprofen. Now going to be off work for a few days at least is it worth claiming for compensation as Im going to lose wages and cant really afford to.

By the way police witnessed accident so no doubt of who was to blame.

Any injury sustained through no fault of your own entitles you to make a claim, but even though you may lose wages, it will be several months at the least before your claimm is settled provising you suffer no long term or ongoing problems.

Speak to a local personal injury law firm and they will/should give you a free consultation and advise you accordingly.

Hi

Sorry to hear about your accident and I hope you recover soon.

If you wish to make a claim for personal injury, please let me knoe and I can get you in contact with a solicitor who will get a response on liability within 15 working days and settle your claim quicker than others.

As the police were present at the scene, this is a very good case.
