I have had whiplash and pain in my arm , muscle damage alot of neck pain for at least two months. I am also now depressed an on medication due to the fact , cant work or even dress myself with out pain . sleepless nights and anxiety driving . my gp has referred me for physio nhs referral. should I bother to claim and would my insurance go up . The other driver admitted liabilty.

Given your injury, of course it is worth submitting a claim, but as to how much it is worth is difficult to quantify without having seen your medical records as there are many issues that have to be considered in addition to the actual physical injuries you received.

You are best advised to speak to a local personal injury solicitor and have a chat.  99% will offer you a free inititial consultation and you would not have to go through your insurers if your case is handled on a no win no fee basis.

If you were to use legal expenses insurance, then you would have to notify your insurance company for the policy to be activated, but it should not affect the value of your premiums given that liability is not disputed
