Self employed trampoline coach - Crashed into, not working

In June this yr a van crashed into the back of me, my two young children were also in the car at the time. I could see the van coming and reached over to shield my son as the impact happen (and he did have a seat belt on). The kids seem to be okay but  from that day I have neck and upper right back pain which is being treated and slight weakness in my right hand. I'm a single parent with two children, I don't see myself ever coaching again as my back pain is always present and now i've loss my contacts as I can no longer do my coaching. I will have to re-train as something else to get a job.

The Van driver has already said it was all his fault.

How long could my claim take and how much financial help could I get in reguards to my injury inc. loss of earnings?

Thank you for your help Sophie. x

Hello,

Sorry to hear that!

A claim for personal injury will take approximately 3-6 months depending on complexities. The amount of Whiplash Compensation you recieve will depend upon your own personal circumstances and the severity of your Whiplash Injury and other heads of claim.

I can send you more details upon your request in your email.

Looking forward to hearing from you and discussing this further,

Best regards,

Joyce A.

This could be a substantial claim with the loss of earnings element and may not be a simple whiplash as
you think
I would not settle this claim quickly for these reasons as you could be undercompensated , I would be pushing for an admssion of liabilty from the third partys insurers and then a payment on account( interim payment)
