Car Accident - Now feel cannot return to my job dealing with RTA's

Please help. . .

I was involved in RTA 4 weeks ago - Third Party Insurers (TPI) admitted full liability and paid out on Total Loss of my Vehicle

Injuries:
cracked rib
Brusied left boob
Air bag burns to arm and face
Sciatica
Seat belt cut

My doctor has signed me off for another 6 weeks however, thinking about going back to work dealing with traffic accidents scares me.

Could I ask the TPI to pay wages of some sort until I found a different job or wages whilst I re-trained to do a different job??
