accident in a shop

Hello. Two weeks ago I had an accident in the shop (Intermarche). I wanted to reach the water from the shelve and I did not notice the box on the floor, which was used by an employee to  discharge  the goods. Because of the box I fell  over standing and broke my leg. The entire length of the calf had a hematoma that must  be cut and cleaned. I had a thrombosis and therefore I receive the injections in the stomach. I am 70. Unfortunately, I don't have the insurance against unlucky accidents. Do I  have a right for compensation? How can I do this? Manager of the store said they can only say sorry. What can I do?

Eliza - you can make a claim as the store were negligent in leaving a box where it was.

You should seek advice from a solicitor. If you do not already have one my firm would be happy to help you as we specialise in accident claims.
