whipslsh

my wife was driving to work last week when the car bonnet flew up at 70 mph. she has bad whiplash and the car might be writen-off. our insurance company say's it's an at fault claim so we can't claim personal injury to my wife or get a courtesy car. does anyone out there know if this is true or are we being shaftted? they said no 3rd party involved so no-one to claim against.

hi i dont know the answer to this but i do know this happened to my brotherinlaws car last week ,its a renualt clio which apparently was on watch dog about this fault in them [about 2-3 ears ago} if it was a clio she was driving you were to take the car back to get a new bonnet catch fitted ,
