traffic accident

A week before christmas my local shopping centre car park was really busy and me and other motorists were waiting to park, i spoted a bay and parked, i then proceeded to cross over to the lift and stairs,  next thing i knew a car had reversed into me! the lady hadnt looked into her mirror and seen me before she reversed, she stopped after hitting the right side of my body, more so my knee, which was hurting already by this time. she didnt even get out to see if i was okay and the driver behing was shaking his head in disbelief. I took her ref down and reported it to security with all the details. Later on i had to go to my local walk in centre as my knee was really painful, i was given an xray and told it was swollen and damaged and to take strong painkillers, since then i have had problems with my knee. Thats why i wondered if i could claim for my injury?
