Drinking a water in the car caused loosing of the teeth - am I liable?

I was a passanger when my husband had a car crash - it was not his fault. Anyway, I lost teeth in the  acident as it happened while I was drinking a water from the bottle. The insurer told me that I will not be fully compensated as drinking the water made me responsible for the accident in 5 %. Isn't it  ridiculous? What's your opinion.
