Compensation after work in sandwich "factory"

hello everyone, it is really great to find such a site where i can ask someone about my claim! I tried to get answer on free forums (owned by companies) but the only thing which the wrote to me is "Contact ouf office, we will help you". But I wonder to start claiming my compensation by myself without any solicitors help! What I think they don't really helps only take money!

Well... few words about my accident.
It happened 11 months ago. During work in food factory (they done mostly sandwiches) I packed sandwiches and suddenly machine pull on my hand and press it with plastic:/ This hand was burned and few bones broken. After this my supervisor took me to medical point in factory. After one hour i do to hospital. I know I have a right to claim (no gloves was given, no vocational training, machine has no safety turn-off button). I spoke about this with my employer and request to pay me Â?10,000. He refuse, so I lave this job and send them letter of claim. Now I wonder to go to the court (they didn't respond since few months). What do you think about going to court and charge them? As I know they have insurer.

Hi Lenin,
The best way to go about this is to hire a solicitor that specialises in personal injury claims, without one you are unlikely to receive compensation for your injury.  My sister was in a similar situation, she was injured at work and she was rewarded compensation. McKeowns Solicitors help her through every step of the process and in the end she received the compensation she was entitled to.

Hi

I am sure that by now you have appointed solicitors to deal with your claim however if not please be aware you only have 3 years in which to claim.  So please if you have not already done so please contact us to make your claim now.
