The open fracture of the left ankle - how should I claim?

I was working on the combine harvester. When I was entering it I had to use the ladder. When I was entering it, I didn't notice that the vertical part of the ladder was broken - I wanted to catch it and it was not there so I fall down from the hight of 2 m. It was my first day on this position (usualy I was working on field. I had no training and I was not even informed that the ladder is broken.

Falling down I hurt my head and broke the leg (the open fracture of the left ankle). The ambulance was called in andI was taken to the hospital. There was no investigation by the work inspection. I am not able to walk properly and I will have problems with it till the end of my life.
