Self employed loss of earning....
Hi I was injured by a hit & run driver if feb 07, the driver was subseqently caught and found guilty of all charges. I suffered a compound multiple open fracture to my tibia & fibula in my right leg,over the next 20 months I have had to endure 5 operations, the costs to me have been high, I have had to rely more on my sub contractors doing jobs that I would have been capable of doing and I now employ an installer as I am not able to do these jobs, My inital loss is around Â?150k up until I took on the installer now my costs are Â?2.5k per month until I retire (which is 16 years from now). Can these costs be factored into the claim all I have had so far is a Â?10 interim payment last year (oct 08)?
