ACCIDENT AFTER HOURS

After the accident in my workplace I was hospialized and spent 6 weeks on the Neuro Intensive Care Unit (NICU). I was trying to get the lever arch file ftom the highest shelf and I didn't know that it is not stable and while I was trying to pick needed documents the whole cabined fallen over me. I lost the consciousness and someone from the office drove me to the hospital. Right now, I am still suffering after the accident but there is no proof that it has happened at work because I was supposed to be at home. Collegues from job will not agree to be witnesses in this case because they are afraid of loosing their jobs. It was totally irresponsible not to put the cabinet stable to the wall and I think that I should recive some compensation for my suffering. What should I do?
