question regarding solicitors

Hi, my dad recently had an accident and it wasn't his fault, he suffered whiplash from the accident. My dad was contacted by a solicitor referred by the AA (My dad's insurance company) and he filled out the forms regarding his accident and personal injuries, would my dad receive more compensation from a company like the national accident helpline and could he still transfer to another solicitor provided that the claim has not been settled yet, thanks

Hi Simon, Your dad is well in his rights to transfer his claim providing not too much work has been done, if it has then he can still transfer his claim but his new sols would preserve their lien opr their costs they have incurred to date.

theres nothing to say that any solicitor will get you more compensation and will be based on the experience of the solicitor. Choose wisely
