Injury in shop in Ireland

Last month I was on holiday in Dublin. I had terrible accident over there. When I was shopping I tripped the steps. Steps was in very bad conditions. After accident I go stright to hospital. I didn't raport it in market or any worker or owner of market. I even didn't have any witnesses of this tripped. Can I charge them?
