fear of motorcycle

Hello, Nearlu twoo wekes ago I have  been a victim of a road accident. I was riding my motorcycle on the ones of the local road and got hit by someone who came out of a stop and did n ot see me. That driver isn't of age. I didn't suffer a large detriment to health but I went to hospital. I didn't call to policy. we drew up a statement on accepting responsibility. During my absence from work I did not go to the doctor. I don't know, is possible be entitled to some compensation for my injuries and a dread of a motorcycling? Any help appreciated.

Right.  Firstly.  You said the driver was not of age.  How old was he? (ish).  Also what details did you get from him?

You need his name and most importantly his registration number.  With this you can make a personal injury.  This is if the statement is signed by him and his real name, ideally you would want a witness name too.  But you havent mentioned anyone.  Also, as you said he was not of age I can only guess he had no insurance.  Well, it will go through the M.I.B. (and no its not Men in Black, lol).  Its called the Motor Insurance Bureau.

If you are still feeling from your injury then definately claim.

Being absent from work and not going to the doctor doesnt go against you having a claim either.  You went to the hospital, which is ok.  As they would have written reports anyway which is what the solicitor would be intrerested in.

Happy to help.  Any questions.  Just ask.  :-)

Right ok.  As he was 16.  He wouldnt have insurance unless he was riding a moped.  If he was in a car then you will have to claim to the M.I.B.  If you want help with this just e-mail me.  Will be happy to help you.
