Knee injury caused blood clot

Hi, I had a fall at work in Jan this year in icy conditions due to my company not gritting.  I slipped on iceand damaged the ten dents and ligaments in my leg which I had to go to A&E for.  I was told to rest which i did but 6 days later I woke up with blinding pain in my left side so I was told to Go to A&E again by the NHS helpline after my GP refused to see me as he said it was not urgent.

I had xrays and a CT scan which found that I had several blood clots which was caused by my fall and iF I HAD NOT COME IN WHEN I DID I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN HERE a few days later.  I was admitted for 5 days and now I am on warefrin for at least 6 months.  I am still off work to ongoing leg pain.  I just wondered on an idea on what sort of compensation i could get as my company have already admitted liability for this.
