Car Accident Injury Claim

Hi All,

I was involved in a car accident 2 years ago, my claim is still ongoing due to ongoing treatment, i was on the motorway when a car i was passing hit me on the rear quarter causing me to spin out of control, my car span im told, twice, i can to rest somehow in the hard shoulder, well, almost, i was not seriously injured, but had a wrist sprain, a knock to my head and moderate whiplash injuries which only recently repaired, my main problem is the Mental condition i am left with, i have been diagnosed with moderate PTSD, the whole experience has left me with my career in tatters, i am still employed but my progression up the ladder has been halted, my home life with my wife is still very difficult, my whole life has changed, i have a behavioural problem whilst driving and being a passenger, my sleep is suffering, it is almost two years and i have seen very little improvement, i have had 15 CBT sessions last year, i am still undergoing a more complex course of CBT with EDM thorapy, the consultant that carried out my examination has reported that it may be a number of years before i see improvement with slight ongong problems if i do, also he says that my elegibility on the open labour market will be affected due to the conditions, before all of this, i had an excellent career prospect in front of me, now i feel inadequate, lack of confidence in my decisions, and decisions others make, i feel awfull, and to top it all, the person that ran into me has vanished, he was insured, but hasnt made himself aware to his insurers with regard to owning up to his responsibilities, i have just been told by my solicitor that we have to obtain an Unsatisfied Judgement before they will pay out, what does all this mean, and can anyone tell me what sort of Compensation i should be entitled to.

Thank you for your help, in advance.

Nathan.

If you weren't a culprit, so you should obtain a compensation for a medical treatment, cost of a rehabilitation if you need,  repair a car, loss of earnings.

We claim for every accident, but there is also a law which guides whether we can claim for that or not...
