If you have suffered personal injury in a road accident - you may be entitled to claim compensation. To make a claim, you must show that the other party was negligent and that injury or damage resulted from this negligence. If you are a pedestrian who has been in collision with a motor vehicle then you might wish to know your rights about making a compensation claim.
Generally these claims involve serious personal injury and it is always sensible to seek formal legal advice on your situation.

she sustained major injuries  and was on life support for  6 weeks.

would you know or point me in the right direction   of someone who would  have any idea of settlement figures... >?????

obviously more info  will be needed  on my behalf...
