glass elements cut up my head

Hello, can somebody help me? The accident happend during my work.When I tiding up a glass shelf from a cupboard, it has broken and a part fell on my head. I had put stitches in the wound. I informed my boos about this event. He answerd that it was a misfortune of fate. Where can I receive compensation from? Thanks
