culprit doesn't admit to blame now

My son was involved in a car accident nearly once month ago, the police didn't come and the other party said it's fault of my son. He was young and didn't know what to do in such a situation. The cuplprit has written a declaration, but now he doesn't admit to make a declaration. What we can do now?Any advice on the above would be very much appreciated.

You should claim compensation with any solicitor because it was not your son fault.
