Injured abroad ,back injury - accident in Scotland

I was last week on holiday in scotland I have accident there ,I have been injured in a car accident what should be my first step when i return to england. The impact was to rear of vehicle I have back injury and traumatic experience from this. How much comensation should I asspect from that ?
