Accident at work compensation

Five days ago i had accident at workplace. I work  in a factory near Biringham. i forgot to wear a helmet and something droped onto my head, something of kind a aharp stone. The accident was raport in accident book.I was taken to a hospital with a slit of head. I lost a much blood and became unconscious. Im still lying in bad,don't know what to do with this? can I count one? Do I i have a right to get a compensation?
