accident on my way from school

I'm not shure that I can claim compensation. i' ve a accident on my return way from my school. My friend was a witness this accident.  There was a hole in a road, footpath. i didn't see it and I stumbled. I had a  concussion and twisted my ankle. Where  can I notify this event. Can I get compensation?

You will need to prove that the accident was the fault of the council for
failing to repaire the hole in the road. These cases are difficult because often the
council say that they inspect the roads regularly. Also, you can only claim if the
hole is deemed to be big enough to be dangerous.

moja corka zlamala kostke w szkole na przerwie. Nikt nie zauwazy i nikt mnie nie poinformowal. Ma zalozony gips na kilka tygodni a ja nie moge isc do pracy. Czy moge starac sie o odszkodowanie i jak?

where was it, In the road or the footpath? sounds dodgy to me. If its in the road 40mm plus depth or in the footpath 20mm plus depth.
