bringing up a child alone

I have a  car accident in work four months ago. I was injured. I had broken my nose and a right hand.  Accident  wasn'tt my faul. This event had a lot of after-effects for me. I could't work three months, I'm a person bringing up a child alone so  i should get a compenstaion for loss of earnings. I already get compenasation for it but insurance company don't want to pay loss of earnings. who can compensate it?

Hi John im new to this forum but il simply get to the point.

The insurance company has to pay you your loss of earnings because it is your entitlement.  Firstly how is your case represented, are you representing yourself or has your insurance company instructed solicitors to recover cost.  What ever the case you need your employer to confirm that you did take time of work, get a doctor to verify your injuries and work out how much you lost out on and then get your legal representative to put it forward to the insurance company and DEMAND your payment as sometimes insurance companies do take the p***.  What then could happen is they might negotiate and say instead of 3 months they are willing to pay 2 months of loss of earnings, again you have to stick to your guard and ask for full payment of loss of earnings, they then might not come back to you for a month or so as it gives them a chance to hold payments for as long as they can, but stay on their case and dont leave them alone as they will soon enough make the payment.  Or on the other hand what you can do is use up your sick allowance at work depending on how long it is and when the insurers finally payup, which they will, your sick allowance will automatically get topped up.

I hope this helps.

I would take on the case but we only make money from injuries, getting people paid out for damages on vehicle, medicle expenses, travel expenses and loss of earnings are just the basics of the claim.

Thanks
