run over by forklift

i was mowed down in may of last year at work by a forklift. i suffered a severely broken ankle, and a broken fibula. i was taken to hospital where i was told i needed surgery. they operated the next day and screwed my ankle back together. on 29th of december last year i needed another operation, this time it was for my fibula. it has been in constant pain since the accident, it transpired that it had not fixed itself. the surgery involved cutting the dead bone away, and some dead or damaged tissue and muscle, a synthetic bone graft and fixing it with a plate and 8 screws. after all this the company i work for has just announced that our yard is closing and we are to be made redundant, i am still on long term sick leave and am not in a position to even look for another job. and as i dont know what the long term prognosis is for my injury no employer will take me on anyway. my employer had promised to give me a phased return to work and to find me a long term lighter duties position. none of this will be happening for me now. they have admitted liability due to the person operating the forklift was not supposed to be using it due to poor eyesight. is there now a case for compensating me for loss of future earnings and if so how will this be calculated. also do you have any idea how much i could expect to be compensated for my injurys, surgery and scarring etc? all info would be appreciated.

Good morning Mark,

Your injuries and experience sound horrific and I hope that your ankle and leg are now recovering well.

As your case is quite complex we would probably be best off having a chat on the phone, so I can answer all of your questions as clearly and in as much detail as possible.

In short you would be entitled to compensation for future loss of earnings and you can expect a large sum of money for the injuries you sustained, the specific value is hard to determine at this stage.

The company I work for, Active Auto Solutions, specialise in personal injury claims and if you wanted to utilise our services following our chat, then we would be happy to assist.

Our expert panel of solicitors provide a no win no fee scheme and you would receive 100% of your compensation and pay no fees at any point.

I hope to here from you soon and that your recent operation is proving to be a success.

Kind regards,

Mark,

Sorry to hear about your accident and subsequent problems with all of the operations. The good news is that you have a potentially very good claim for compensation. If you are still looking to make a claim please contact me on 01384620701/07772650364
