No Offers Yet ! Legal proceedings Issued

Hi,

I had an accident last in April, 3rd party insurance company took few months to admit liablity . They have paid for the damages on my car. They have also paid for te hrie charges to hire company  but since my solicitor have sent them medical report , they have not made any offers. Medical report was disclosed to them in october and my solictor has wrote to them several times but they have not responded. With mutual consent between me and solicitor, court proceedings were issued on 05.12.11 but even then we have not heard anything. It has been over 28 days. No defense has been filled. I have medical evidence to prove the injury.

My question is
Are they more likely to file a defense?
What will happen next?
Do i need to go to court or ask my solicitor to file a judgement against defendent?
