It seems that you have a claim against your friend for their negligent driving.  the fact that you were not wearing your seatbelt will not defeat your claim but might mean that you have to take a reduction in your damages.  it is impossible to correctly value your claim on a description of your injuries alone as to do this properly, you need full medical evidence.  give me a call on 07711 286753 and i will discuss your claim with you in more detail as well as the options you have available to you.

If your friends insurance is void then you must use solictors to claim through the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) under the Uninsured Drivers Agreement. This is only if your friend's insurance company actually manage to completely void the policy. It is often very difficult to void a policy but either the MIB or the Insurers will pick up you claim to ensure you're on the path to recovery.

Many car insurance copamnies are in the practice of determining basic rates, not only on the driver's record, but on the buyer's zip code.  The reasoning behind this is that, in some areas, statistics show a greater number of collisions and claims made.  Perhaps the insurance copamnies believe that bad drivers seem to congregate in certain areas. In any case, since insurace copamnies are in the business to make a profit, they can use these statistics to justify whatever they want to charge their customers.By the way, if you, falsely, reapply under an address that is no longer yours, THEY can, not only deny any claim you make, they can sue you for perjury and who knows what else.

yes they will find it.  when you get a quote they may not run your reports so its up to you to be esohnt about any points or accidents on your record.  if you dont tell them they WILL run your records when the policy is issued and then your premium will be higher than the quote and they have the right to cancel the policy with notice. its probably better for you to wait until your record is clean again before you switch

It is advisable to seek specialist advice from a personal injury solicitor, experienced in RTA accident compensation and Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) Claims as suggested by PeteE; a legal advisor will be able to assess the strength of your claim providing any legal advice you may need. You can then make your own decision if you would like to pursue a claim or not.  A personal injury / RTA solicitor will be able to advise if you will be able to claim compensation and they will normally work on a no win no fee basis. You will be able to find excellent advice and legal representation from MTA Solicitors LLP who are experienced in this type of claim.  MTA Solicitors LLP 0208 437 0731, or if you visit their website, you can make a quick claim enquiry online and someone will call you straight back.

so what was your bad experience? You eexpct someone to pay out because you fell down stairs? Didn't you see the stairs were there? If others had fallen then you had an extra duty of care on the stairs, which you seemed not to take.Quite how you got done over is beyond me, by your own admitted negligence you caused yourself injury, you paid nothing for the  no win no fee  as you didn't win
