RTA Doctors notes and medical

Hi, we had a (non-fault) car accident last year and attended gp later that week, also attended a medical requested by solicitors (they said I needed physio etc for my back) anyway now other party have asked for GP records which is fine sent auth forms back and they now have gp notes however there is no record that we attended gp why would this be - we obv did or I wouldn't have signed the authorisation form for them to view the notes in the first place?!?! What will happen with our claim? This guy hit us from behind at a pelican crossing we were still and he slammed into the back of us causing over 1k of damage, he gave us hisname and address and said he would foot the bill, we took it to a reputable garage rang him with the price and he said absolutely not he'll just spray it himself!! (this is Â?10k car we are talking about here!!) we have al the paperwork from the place that repaired it (we took the car there almost immediately after the accident), medical notes from solicitors medical examination, story has always been consistent. This has been going on for over 12 months now and it is driving me mad!!!!
