Who is the right firm to go with?

I recently was involved in a car accident and was initially going to let my insurance handle everything until i was told the charges and hidden costs which were involved and i felt like i was passed from person to person, so i decided to see which other companies would take on my case, i did my research and realised how many companies are out there. I am fairly new to this whole 'claim' world. I would like advice to which company are the best to deal with, they all seem to offer similar services, as i am slighlty aged i feel many companies push their company with 'jargon and just want a sale'. Help and advice would be much appreciated.

Thank - you in advance
Harry
