You could do it yourself if you are conversant with Civil Procedure Rules, the rules of disclosure and you have the finances to fund the disbursments that you will need to fight your case.

You also need to know how to prepare a schedule of costs for both special and general damages, the multiplyers that are used and, and, and,!!!!!!

John,
The quick answer to this is NO, we are one of the only companies to offer a mediation service whereby we take your case directly to the insurance company.

If you have been injured as a result of somebody's negligence call us on 0800 689 9994

Or you could just contact the third party insurance company (insurers of the negligent driver)!  Unless they are disputing liability most insurers are large enough to make you an offer of settlement in house, without the need for solicitors help. They may want you to complete a medical report with a medical consultant (usually for ongoing or complicated injury) but this would be normal if you used solicitors to claim

In most cases you will need a solicitor but a claim management company is something you do not need. Claims management company's only role is to take your details and sell them to a solicitor. Just cut out the middleman and go directly to any Personal Injury solicitor. Try: claim-right-lawyers.co.uk

Taking legal action to claim for personal injury is complicated and time-consuming, especially if you are unfamiliar with the process, and there are a number of ways in which a solicitor can help you. Therefore, it is nearly impossible to go about without the help of a personal injury lawyer.
