ongoing claim

I was hit from behind by a cage trolley full of butter and broke my ankle.  2 years after that needed an op to repair ligaments/tendons.  2 periods of incapacitation and 3 bouts of counselling for anxiety/ptsd.  pyschologist report confirming medium ptsd, and medical reports all done.  claim been going on with solicitor since very beginning.  court hearing date for after xmas as only been offered Â?15,000. so far.  Solicitor worried we won't get much more than that although to me it's worth a lot more (stiffness in ankle still present and unable to wear heels or use clutch foot without discomfort etc.) Female and 41, only 37 when it happened.  Am I striving for the impossible;  will I never win against the big fish?

Well depending on your agreement with your solicitor you might want to get another solicitor to look at your case and they might see it the way you do that it is worth more and try to get more money for you. However if you are locked in a no win no fee agreement with your current solicitor you wont be able to do that unless they agree you pay them for there services thus far.
