Eye injury

I have had a serious injury at work to my eye which has resulted in the loss of sight.I have under gone two operations already with another in a couple of weeks then i will need further surgery after that.

I was not trained or told to wear eye protection to carry out this job

The injury was in early may  and i have not been able to go back to work.

Does anybody have any idea what compensation i could recieve for this injury

How long is a piece of string?
