injury

i was a passenger in a claim i was told i was awarded Â?2000 i did not recieve the money because i was told the money had been taken from the solicitors because i owed money.I believed the solicitor until i had another accident and got my money i asked the solicitor for a explanation he got very angry and was sent a letter.However i still cant see why if it is caused personal injury i am to decide who it goes to and if i did have a so called debt it is for me to arrange payments.

After that accident i had another and got my money paid to me so i am confused what is going on or if a have been robbed of my money.
