Hi
I have problem. I don't know how can I claim compensation for my lost. I had one year ago an accident. I was cyclist and car hit me backwards. I had broken arm and I have problems with my spinal too. I can't work five month. How can I claim compensation now? How much can I get?

You can make a claim against the insurance company of the car driver. You will
say that he should have seen you. You can claim for your broken arm and your loss of
earnings. His insurance will also have to pay your legal costs if you win your case.
How much you will get depends on how bad the injury was but it could be a few
thousand pounds AND your loss of earnings. You should contact a solicitor about
making a claim.

It should not have to cost you anything. Many solicitors operate a 'No Win, No Fee' policy, so you don't get charged, even if you lose the case. There is also a scheme operated by the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) for claiming against uninsured drivers. Contact a specialist personal injury solicitor, such as Harris Fowler, for more information.

No win no fee, is the way to go if you don't have any money or you are scared that you might loose, resulting in a large legal bill. In general the person behind the wheel is nearly always guilty due to it being them driving a vehicle that has the potential to kill somebody.
