wrong operation

IN APRILL 2006 I WAS DIAGNOSED BY A TOP SPECIALIST THAT I HAVE CARPUL TUNNEL SYNDROME. IN 2008 I WAS REFERRED TO A PRIVATE CONSULTANT ,HE DECIDED THAT I HAD NERVE COMPRESSION IN MY RIGHT ELBOW ,AND THEN OPERATED ON ME. BUT HE WAS TOLD I HAD THE SYMPTOMS IN BOTH HANDS, HE HAS NOW ADMITTED THAT HE PERFORMED WRONG OPERATION.WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT THIS?
