accident in Ireland

I work in Irish garbage disposal company. One day when i was working, driver reversed his truck and ran over my feet. The I was took to the hospital with broken feet and got some surgeries (bones reconstructions?). Unfortunately, doctors are afraid if i would be as fit as I was before the accident. Of course we took part in industrial safety courses, so i can`t sue my employer. If so, who can compensate my pain and disability.
