My kid lost an eye while playing in the kindergarten

The other kid in the kindergarten threw some toy. It wa just a bad luck and I understand that it wasn't the fault of the lady who was looking after the group at that moment. It came out that my boy lost vision in left eye as the consequence of the accident. Even though I don't blame the kindergarten I need to get compensation for my boy in order to assure his future. Howshould I claim?

To claim compensation you have to establish some negligence. It sounds to me as though there may have been a lack of supervison however if there is no negligence you will struggle to recover compensation.

If the injury was caused deliberatly it may be possible to make a claim to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.
