car accident over 14 months ago

I was in a car accident in November 2008, I have seen several specialists to do with the injuries i had from the accident and the solicitor I have doesn't seem to be doing anything other than telling me to go and see another, In the mean time the third party insurers have admitted liability on behalf of there client and I still haven't had an offer and it doesn't look like I will be getting one soon is this going on to long or is it in the right time frame ?

Maybe you have quite bad injuries and lots of reports are needed. Have you asked about an interim payment? Remember once your claim is settled it is final, so some times it is best to get an interim payment if the final medical situation is uncertain and more medical reports are needed

I have seen all the medical experts and the 3rd party insurance are now saying there are inconsistancies with the reports but as far as everyone else can see there isn't it's just getting really frustrating

Hi,

firstly you will get a lot of people on here running claims companys that will say "i can help" or "it shouldnt take that long and we can take it over" without looking into the file they really can not say that.

secondly moving solicitors can sometime disrupt your claim. i run an accident management company, but we act in the interest of the client at all times, even if it means taking the time to give advice when there in no benifit what so ever to us.

there are few things to ask your solicitor first.
have they now sent you to the last medical? have you approved the medical report?
does your solcitor see where the third party are coming from? i.e does there argument hold any valid points?
if they think the third party are "clutching at straws", then ask when are they going to issue court proceedings (depending on weather all of your particulars of claim are in) if they say we are waiting for documents from you to prove i.e "your loss of earnings" then return them as soon as possible so they have no excuse not to go to court.

failing all that...... and they dont seem to want to fight it for you... then think about pulling it away from them.

i really hope this helps you

I think you need a special advice from a proper solicitor, try searching online or ask for a advice from you friends or relatives.
Best is searching in google and searching for the most suitable companies that will understand your problem and then reply.

Best regards,
Alex
