Can I claim for my injury?

My right hand got burnt and hurt after falling from ladder to the grill (which was turned on at that time), I didn't go to seek medical help immidiately! My question is can I claim for the accident now? It happened on 23rd December 2009 at my work place. can sumbody advice me on claiming for compensation?
