solicitors who deal personal injury cases

Hello,
I had accident at work few months ago. I have already choose personal injury solicitor who deal my case. It took him quite long time, I don't have contact with him at all, he only send me letters by post that nothing changed. He didn't managed to contact with my employer till now! He don't know his insurer, who may be able to pay compensation... What to do with him now? Should I change my solicitor?

Hi Barubar, i am a solicitor by trade.

the tricky situation that you are in is that if you have signed your Conditional Fee Agreement (CFA) then ultimately you are in an agreement with the solicitor in the event that you have not signed then you are free to pursue your claim with another solicitor.

In the event that you wish to claim with another solicitor then you may well do so however they may have to preserve the previous solicitors Lien (costs) which some solicitors avoid, however i have a friend called Lee, he will definately be able to put you in touch with another solicitor regardless to what stage you are upto with your claim,
