pane cut my palm during shooping in work

The third of February, my boss ordered me to go to shoop. I had buy something for him. I succumbed bodily injuries. Opening a door, the door-pane cracked. The pane cut my palm- shreded two finger. The  splinters of glass sank deep into fingers. A owner of  the shoop took me in his car to hospital. There they dressed the wounds, and refer me to another  hospital. Two days later I underwent an operation-- 66% defective tendons. I've a medical sick leave for  three months.. The owner of this shoop this door pane  had a quality and safety certificate. Can I claim a compensation from the owner of shoop or his insurance? What should I do?

I think the owner should lodge a complaint and you claim compensation from his. The shop propably has a insurance, so Your compensation should will be pay out from it.  Do you have witness?
