Passenger injuries -driver was asleep

Onces week ago i was involved in a motorway accident that i survived but has affected my quality of life greatly.I was a passanger, The driver's car- my father was asleep. I was sleeping too. We hit in the back his car. He's died. I am afraid of making a claim. If the blame is my dad can I compensation from his insurance?

Yes you can. If you were passenger in a car accident that resulted from the negligence of the driver of the car that you were travelling in, or the negligence of another road user, then it likely that we can help you to make a passenger injury claim.

Because it was your fathers fault the family of the man from the other car would have claimed for damages to their car also for the loss of their family member.

This means a claim has been open already against your fathers insurance.

Even if there were 10 people claiming through your fathers insurance it is only one incident therefore 1 overall claim.

Please do not be put off from claiming as it will not effect your father or his insurance in any way further as the other party would have made the relevant claims already.

Take care
